Gary has worked within the mining and construction industries for over 35 years. He has worked primarily in the Coal, Copper and Gold commodities within Australia, PNG, Tanzania, Laos and Kazakhstan for major mining houses that included Rio Tinto, BHP, Anglo American, Acacia Barrick and Pan Aust.
Starting as a heavy equipment operator, the knowledge, skills and experiences gained through his career progression have seen Gary hold various manager roles within the production, training and safety disciplines.
Gary holds an MBA in human resource management, a graduate diploma of business, a diploma in training and assessment systems, a certificate IV in workplace training and assessment, and several RII OHS certifications.
Since 2009, he has led fatal and serious high-potential investigations across the mining and construction sectors.
As a natural communicator, Gary works effectively within cultural, coaching, mentoring and training settings.
His operational experience and high level of curiosity have enabled him to succeed with Incident Investigations, Systems Auditing, Business Improvement and Change Management Events.
